I have been looking for years for a family in my same situation (mostly a blog to chronicle their experience to let me know I can survive!).
Our situation:
-husband in school full time for chemical engineering
-I work full time at a great job outside the home
-we have two kids, one with a genetic disorder that requires a bit of extra care
-we moved in with my in-laws the week before Thanksgiving 2014 (dang, it's been that long?!)
- our "bedroom" is the old toy room. Not a real bedroom as there are no windows.
-the kids share a bedroom
-we have a family room to ourselves in the basement but it still houses in-laws furniture
-we share the kitchen with the in-laws
I cannot find another mom who has kids, working full time, putting the hubby through school.
I know it can't be that rare but I feel very alone sometimes.
It's like being a single mom but I have someone to cuddle up to at night and help with bedtime (a little).
So here we are- the Fullmer House. Trying to survive school for the hubby, and having a goal to let me stay home full time eventually and buy our own house (at this point I'll move anywhere- Norway anyone??).
And yes, this is the only picture of us as a family of four so far. And it's the best one of a few taken that day.
